Altruistik dalam OCB; Analisis Perilaku Indisipliner Pegawai

Abstract


Penelitian ini menganalisis altruistik sebagai salah satu dimensi primer dari Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), kemudian memadukannya dengan fenomena pegawai di dua organisasi pemerintahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui dampak dari altruistik dalam OCB – yang ketika dilakukan – justru kontraproduktif dengan esensi OCB itu sendiri berupa perilaku indisipliner. Dalam fenomena yang diteliti di dua organisasi pemerintahan, didapatkan bahwa altruistik, meskipun berefek positif bagi organisasi – sesuai dengan karakter OCB, namun juga mempunyai efek negatif bagi individu berupa perilaku indisipliner, ini dilihat dari temuan penelitian yang didapatkan. Data diambil dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yakni melakukan observasi partisipatif lengkap dan wawancara bebas. Secara akademik, tujuan jangka panjang dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji teori yang dilihat dari lokus organisasi pemerintahan dengan karakterisktik pelayanan dan pendidikan. Target khususnya tentu ingin melihat bahwa karakter OCB di dua organisasi dengan dua karakter yang berbeda, ternyata mempunyai kecenderungan yang sama terkait imbas negatif OCB yakni indispliner pegawai.
