Pengaruh Employee Engagement terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Kepuasan Kerja sebagai Variabel Intervening

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening di perusahaan elektronik di kawasan industri Cikarang. Employee engagement merupakan konsep yang penting dalam konteks organisasi modern, karena dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Kepuasan kerja, di sisi lain, dianggap sebagai variabel yang memediasi hubungan antara employee engagement dan kinerja karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada karyawan perusahaan elektronik di kawasan industri Cikarang. Sampel penelitian diambil secara acak dari populasi karyawan yang ada berjumlah 76 responden. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik seperti regresi linier dan analisis jalur untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang terlibat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa employee engagement memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja juga terbukti memediasi hubungan antara employee engagement dan kinerja karyawan. Artinya, semakin tinggi tingkat employee engagement, semakin tinggi pula kepuasan kerja karyawan, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kinerja mereka. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di perusahaan elektronik di kawasan industri Cikarang. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya perusahaan untuk fokus pada pengembangan strategi dan program yang dapat meningkatkan tingkat employee engagement, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan secara keseluruhan.
