Perbedaan Karakteristik Chair-Ceo Dan Kinerja Perusahaan

Abstract


Permasalahan yang berkaitan antara Ketua dan CEO merupakan kajian yang menarik untuk dibahas. Hubungan ketidaksamaan Ketua-CEO diyakini mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan dalam beberapa cara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dampak ketidaksamaan Ketua-CEO seperti usia, jenis kelamin dan kebangsaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Ketidaksamaan antara ketua dan CEO diukur dengan variabel dummy, dan kinerja diukur dengan TOBINSQ dan ROA. Penulis menggunakan 205 sampel perusahaan non-keuangan di Indonesia selama tahun 2011-2015 dengan 748 observasi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, hasil regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa ketidaksamaan usia dan gender antara Ketua-CEO berpengaruh positif signifikan dan perbedaan kewarganegaraan antara Ketua-CEO tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, ini berarti bahwa perusahaan dengan ketidaksamaan usia dan gender Ketua-CEO menunjukkan kinerja yang lebih baik.
