STRATEGI ADAPTASI BISNIS PERBANKAN SYARIAH (Studi Kasus pada BNI Syariah KCP Pati)
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi adaptasi bisnis yang diterapkan oleh perbankan syariah dalam kondisi krisis pandemik covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Objek penelitian yang dipilih adalah kinerja BNI Syariah KCP Pati pada periode Kuartal-1 hingga Kuartal-2. Penelitian ini mengadopsi teori adaptasi bisnis yang dikembangkan oleh Minet dan Michael (2001), dengan variabel karakteristik pemimpin dan karakteristik organisasi mempengaruhi komponen adaptasi (kapasitas adaptasi, strategi adaptasi dan level adaptasi). Hasil penelitian memiliki implikasi antara lain BNI Syariah hendaknya melakukan proses rotasi dan mutasi pegawai secara rutin, yang merupakan upaya dalam mendorong penciptaan pemimpin yang memiliki sikap adaptif. BNI Syariah hendaknya mengkaji secara khusus pengaruh antara digitalisasi perbankan dengan kemampuan adaptasi terhadap kondisi krisis. Dengan adanya digitalisasi, karakteristik organisasi BNI Syariah akan secara bertahap berubah dari padat karya menjadi padat modal, yang berdampak merubah kemampuan adaptasi organisasi.
