Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Kinerja Organisasi Pendidikan

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja organisasi sekolah. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Advent di Indonesia yang sudah terakreditasi oleh BAN (Badan Akreditasi Nasional) dan AAA (Adventist Accrediting Association). Terdapat 408 responden dari penelitian ini yang terdiri atas para guru tetap maupun honor pada 24 sekolah yang terakreditasi BAN dan AAA untuk SMA di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk pemilihan dan pengambilan sampel dan menggunakan data primer melalui metode survey. Dengan menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), penelitian ini mendapati bahwa gaya kepemimpinan secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi. Secara spesifik gaya kepemimpinan transaksional memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi sekolah, sementara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi sekolah.
